Hyde Park
Hyde Park sits on a plateau above the Ohio River valley and joined the City of Cincinnati in 1903 and 1909. Life centers on Hyde Park Square and its Kilgour Fountain, donated in 1900, with Sunday farmers markets and October's art show on the green, and shops and restaurants along Erie Avenue.
Oakley
Oakley began in 1852 as a roadhouse stop called Four Mile and joined Cincinnati in 1913. Oakley Square on Madison Road has restaurants, bars, the 1941 20th Century Theater and Aglamesis Bro's ice cream parlor, open on the Square since 1913. To the north, Oakley Station stands where the old Cincinnati Milling Machine plant was.
